EVENT DATES & TIMES - (10:00am Sat 8 March – 12:00pm Mon 9 March)
We are excited to invite you to the Bluebell Music & Arts Festival 2025 that will be held in an outdoor location just outside of the nation’s bush capital on 8-10 March 2025 and will coincide with International Women's Day on 8 March. The festival has been established to celebrate and showcase female artists in the underground electronic music scene. Accordingly, it has an all-female line-up including DJs and producers of different music genres, live performers, and artists who are displaying their art in the gallery.
The name ‘Bluebell’ comes from the flower call Royal Bluebell (Wahlenbergia gloriosa), which is a small, delicate flower is known for its deep blue colour and remarkable ability to thrive in harsh, cold conditions, making it a symbol of resilience and beauty. Native to the alpine and sub-alpine woodlands of the Australian Capital Territory (ACT), the Royal Bluebell grows on the mountain tops around Canberra, and it is the official floral emblem of the ACT. It stands as a reminder of the natural beauty that surrounds Canberra and reflects the endurance and strength of the ACT’s people and environment. Although it is called a bluebell, its colour is actually a deep purple.
Bush Kulture is a collaborative not-for-profit music and arts initiative of a group of like-minded people passionate about underground electronic music culture and scene.
